Super Teacher Tools

Super Teacher Tools is a nifty little site for educators that I discovered on a blog that I follow. This site allows teachers to create different things such as online games (i.e. Jeopardy, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, etc), seating charts, QR codes, and other classroom management tools. The website is not overwhelming and is easy to use. There is not an abundant amount of resources or tools, but that makes finding what you need easy. I would rate this site a 2.5 - 3.0 and not any higher simply because they have only the select few tools available. However, I wouldn’t doubt that they create and add more in the future. Google Classroom

Google classroom takes classroom management to a whole new level. It allows teachers to create, mangage, and distribute anything and everything to their select audience. It allows you to create assessments and then grade and give feedback all in the online classroom. This will virtually turn your classroom into a paperless classroom. A must have for the flipped classroom teachers! The only downfall is that you have to have access to Google’s Apps for Education to create a classroom of your own. If your school district does not have this available, I would highly recommend you ask to have it. It will make your life a whole lot easier! I would rate this site a 3.5, and not a 4.0 only because it is not available to every teacher, unless they have Google’s Apps for Education.

Cara Carroll has got teaching and blogging down to a science. She provides such a fun outlook on many different things. She also has a whole section on her blog for teachers to download FREE resources that she has created. I absolutely love this blog and everything that she creates for the classroom! I give her blog a 4.0 she posts very frequently, very down to Earth, giving, and all round amazing stuff for FREE and even has other large packs to buy! The only down fall is that her blog is for PK-2 grade teachers. J Check it out here: http://thefirstgradeparade.blogspot.com/search/label/freebies
